MR Life
Todd Varano has worked remotely for MR Systems in the PLC Department for about three years. He came to us with an Electrical Engineering degree from Penn State University. He briefly left MR and went to work for Charleston Water where he gained tons of knowledge on how to be the customer. He brought that experience back to MR and has become a valuable asset to us. Living in Charleston makes it easy for him to respond to service calls to the surrounding plants promptly. The customers know and trust him, they even contact him on his personal cell. Todd’s favorite project was the Beaufort Jasper Hardeeville project which was his first sole programmer start up. Through the job he was able to learn a huge amount about Modicon Unity programing, which was something he has basic experience with prior to MR.
Charleston Life
Todd and his wife have three fur babies who keep them quite busy. They enjoy taking them out to play on the beautiful beaches of Charleston. When not with their puppies they take every opportunity to travel and see the world. They have recently been returned from Iceland to begin planning their next vacation. Todd loves living in the historic town of Charleston because there is always something to do: downtown, rainbow row, beaches, and night life.
Hobbie Life
As you will see in the video Todd enjoys fixing up cars. Over the years he has fixed up a half dozen cars. We were able to take a look into his home garage where he spends his time making adjustments to his vehicles. He believes manufactures put in a lot of unnecessary parts that weigh a car down.
